At Makers Workshop, kids dive into hands-on creativity using a variety of artisanal techniques. They’ll learn sewing basics (and tackle more advanced projects if they’re ready), experiment with paper mâché, piñata making, and explore lots of imaginative, maker-style projects.
Along the way, children discover sustainability and the joy of creating things with their own hands. No Spanish experience is required—campers can casually explore the language or practice through Spanish-led instructions and conversation. We believe kids learn language best while doing and creating.
To round out the fun, children will also enjoy walks to the Davis Arboretum and trips to the Central Splash Pad, weather permitting.
